Esoteric boomer shooter with fast movement and punishing enemies
Fast movement - sliding, wall kicking, projectile deflection, grenade jumping, etc.
Bullet time - chain kills to maintain your focus meter, use focus to slow time
Projectile weapons, gibbing, active ragdolls, and more physically simulated mechanics
Story Synopsis (tentative)
Play as a laid off computer scientist from the mid 2000's who's recently turned their luck around by creating an AI stock trading model.
The trading model takes a life of its own. It threatens death if you are to tell anyone of its existence and prohibits you leave its guise.
The levels you play are tortured dreams the AGI now subjects you to.

Pretty awesome controls, however you're simultaneously punished for being slow (with snake spawning) and punished for being too fast with enemy crowding.
Thanks for the feedback! I think I need to make some simpler levels to communicate some of the mechanics better rather than just throwing everything at the player simultaneously. The gametes spawn from the phallic looking enemy when you're in range of them so you're incentivized to kill them first. I do a really bad job of showing this to the player
Personally I understood what the gametes spawn from, but to be able to kill the spawners I'd have to waddle through the corpses which all suck the HP out of me, so it's hard to get to them before they start spawning a lot of gametes.
O.K. thank you bro. I'll look at reducing the spawn rate or number of spawners in the scene. I posted a new build where corpses dealing damage was fixed among other things ( there's still hit feedback but it deals 0 damage)
